Canine Good Citizen Prep Class
Prerequisite Family Dog Foundations
his 6-week course will cover the skills necessary to successfully complete the AKC Canine Good Citizen test which is open to purebred and mixed breed dogs.
The test items include:
1. Accepting a friendly stranger
2. Sitting politely for petting
3. Appearance and grooming
4. Out For a Walk (walking on a loose lead)
5. Walking thru a crowd
6. Sit and down on cue and stay in place
7. Coming when called
8. Reaction to another dog
9. Reaction to distractions
10. Supervised separation.
The last class will include administering the AKC Canine Good Citizen for each student.
Trick Dog Novice
Prerequisites: Family Dog Foundations
Join us at this fun and functional tricks class. Your dog will learn tricks such as

Tricks will build your bond and communication skills with your dog. Join us to discover practical applications for the tricks you learn in class. Students will be eligible for the AKC Trick Dog Novice title (open to purebred and mixed breed dogs) at the last class.
Day Training
This 12 week program offers one or two days a week, one on one training with Sue, the trainer. Don't have time to attend a group class? Is your dog home alone all day? Day Training may be perfect for you and your dog.
Unlike traditional "all day play" daycares that often consist of large groups with minimal structure, the Clip Shoppe Day Train Program offers a unique, enrichment-based socialization model. Our program is strictly limited to small groups to ensure your dog receives individual attention and develops a lifetime of good habits.
Who Is This Program For?
This program is designed for dog owners seeking a structured environment that prioritizes both mental enrichment and physical stimulation. It is ideal for: Puppies, Adult Dogs and Sensitive Dogs, Dogs who don't do well in large rowdy groups at traditional daycare, Dogs who enjoy learning new things and Dogs whose owners want more for their best friends.
